  • Do you sell replacement parts?

We do not sell replacement parts. The parts we have in inventory are for technicians to complete repairs. Your best option is to go to an online part store. Good options are: RepairClinic.com ; ReliableParts.com. For a local store try Coast Appliance Parts in San Marcos / CoastParts.com

  • Can I supply my own parts?

Yes, but Pro-Tech Appliance doesn’t warranty parts that are not supplied by our technicians. Therefore, you, the customer, are still responsible for labor charge if defective.

  • All of our technicians have undergone rigorous training

  • How much will the service cost?

Our service/trip charge is $95, and that charge is waived with an approved repair. Depending on the specific repair and parts that are necessary for your appliance, the cost of repair will vary.

  • Do you offer emergency service?

Unfortunately, we do no offer emergency service. Meaning we don’t have dispatchers and/or technicians on call 24/7, but we always do our best to get a technician out as soon as possible, especially when it comes to refrigerators and the possibility of food loss. If it’s after regular business hours, the online service request is your best option to secure an appointment as soon as possible.

  • Will you have the part I need on hand?

Our technicians carry fast moving parts on their truck, and our goal is to complete repairs on a single visit, but it is impossible for us to have all the parts. Through our national and local parts providers, we are able to obtain parts in a timely fashion. In many cases, next day. Now, if the necessary part is plainly obvious (e.g. broken glass on oven door), we are able to order the part ahead of the appointment and limit our visits to 1.

  • What warranty do you offer with repairs?

Unless otherwise noted, parts and its related labor are warranted for 90 days under conditions of normal household usage. Except as provided for above, there is no warranty or guarantee of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose of any kind, express or implied. We do not make any guarantee with respect to parts not supplied or replaced by us. If repairs become otherwise necessary due to other defective parts, they will be charged separately. Warranty applies to normal business hours and service area. We do not guarantee against loss or damage to food or clothing.
